New Installation in Poland: An Integrated Cleaning and Drying Solution to Maximize Corn Value

As part of the expansion of its activities in Central Europe, CFCAI recently supported the commissioning of a new installation in Poland dedicated to corn preservation and value enhancement.

This project perfectly illustrates our comprehensive approach to post-harvest technologies, based on the integration of the essential cleaning and drying stages to ensure grain quality while optimizing storage facility performance.

A Complete and High-Performance Technical Solution

The installation includes:

  • A LAW SBC 10NE continuous-flow grain dryer
  • A MAROT EAC 704 grain cleaner-grader

High-Performance Continuous Drying
The LAW SBC 10NE dryer was selected for its ability to provide efficient and fully automated corn drying under demanding operating conditions:

  • Inlet moisture content: 35%
  • Outlet moisture content: 15%
  • Drying capacity: up to 200 tonnes per day
  • Fully automated operation

This solution ensures safe grain storage while preserving product quality and reducing operating costs.

An Essential Cleaning Stage Upstream

To optimize drying performance, the installation is equipped with a MAROT EAC 704 cleaner-grader, ensuring efficient grain preparation before thermal processing.

Key features include:

  • Ø 805 mm rotary screen with 4 screening sections
  • A510 aspiration fan for effective removal of fines and light impurities
  • Cleaning capacity: 70 t/h
  • Pre-cleaning capacity: 90 t/h

Pre-cleaning is a strategic step that directly contributes to improving drying efficiency and preserving final grain quality.

The Cleaning-Drying Combination: A Driver of Sustainable Performance

At CFCAI, we believe that the highest levels of performance are achieved when equipment is designed as a fully integrated system. Combining cleaning and drying provides several key benefits:

  • Improved overall plant efficiency
  • Preservation of grain quality and market value
  • Reduced energy consumption and maintenance costs
  • Enhanced long-term storage security
  • Maximized crop value

This approach is fully aligned with our mission: supporting grain industry professionals with reliable, efficient, and field-proven post-harvest solutions.

Thank You to Our Partners and Customer

We would like to sincerely thank our customer and our Polish partners for their trust and cooperation throughout this project.

This new reference in Poland highlights CFCAI’s expertise in designing and integrating complete post-harvest solutions and further strengthens our presence among grain storage and processing professionals across Europe.

Congratulations to all teams involved in the successful completion of this project.
