Throughout farming history, tools and processes have been continuously developed to optimize grain sorting and cleaning processes.
Emile MAROT has been a player in the industry for over 150 years. Grain cleaning and sorting specialist MAROT specifically owes its reputation to its unique rotary grain cleaner, used across the agro-industrial markets in Europe and worldwide.
MAROT’s team of engineers relentlessly strive to provide clients with cutting-edge, reliable and high-performance technology.
Marot cleaners meet the needs of every operator with a complete range of well-designed products.
The absence of vibration eliminates dynamic stress and the rotary drum can be installed on any existing platform. On the other hand, a horizontal screen often requires the installation of a reinforced structure.
The equipment’s continuous and vibration-free motion facilitates the passage of each grain through a screen perforation. Whereas with a horizontal screen, the grains bounce due to the vibration and cannot easily drop through the perforations. This is why a rotary drum system is preferred for high-precision grain grading applications.
A touch screen PLC optimizes main setting adjustments: aspiration air flow, curtain of grain, adjustable speed and pitch, screen selection assistance.
Marot rotary cleaners feature adjustable speed and pitch settings for better product flow, optimized performance, and a high level of control
The versatile rotary drum can be used in a wide range of difficult grain separation and grading operations.
The same equipment can often be used from fine calibration to high capacity pre-cleaning processes.
Marot rotary screens are equipped with variable speed and slope to facilitate product flow, improve accuracy and performance while allowing a high degree of control.
In grain sorting and grading operations, the role of the screen that removes small impurities and broken grains with small holes is paramount.
Overall performance primarily depends on deblinding efficiency. With a horizontal screen system, the lower screen cannot be controlled while in operation, and the weight of the grain layer on the screen prevents efficient deblinding, regardless of the system used (rollers, balls or other). With a rotary cleaner, deblinding takes place at the top of the cylinder, which is free of product, so grains fall back almost through gravity.
Marot’s multipurpose cleaners can be used for grain cleaning before shipment or for preliminary cleaning upon delivery, grading and dust removal operations.
